Geocache Description:

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a fan of Fruits And Nuts! Recently I was in this area and it occurred to me that I must be a lil' fruity or a bit nutty to be out looking for a little container holding a logbook. At the same instant, I noticed what I felt would be a grand place to bring my fellow caching buddies. Don't forget to bring yourself some water ... depending on your approach - this lil' hike is difficult for some, mildly strenuous for others, and a cake walk for a few. BYOP!

Not only am I kind of fruity and nutty (at times) ... I'm also a FAN of the many geocachers who I've had the pleasure to meet, and/or enjoyed their clever hides. I couldn't help but think of a couple of them in particular as I chose F.A.N. placement #6.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, a couple of fruity "sweet" gals included me on the biggest caching day I'd ever experienced while at GW6. They'd planned the entire thing, and let HTG and I ride along. I watched closely in hopes to learn all I could from these clever ladies. By the end of the day, I had far surpassed my record number of finds in an afternoon. I learned a lot about mega caching and planning because of their hard work. This F.A.N. cache #6 is my way of thanking you, TheFatCats!
