This small cache is located at Brazos Bend State Park off of Hale Lake Loop Trail. It is in a area of the park where the buzzards roast, so you may not want to look up and the white leaves are not there natural color. It is a special coating applied by the buzzards. While in the area, you can grag several other caches. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not stick your hands into a hole without first looking to see if anything is home. Use a stick instead. Things like spiders, ticks, thorns, poison plants, ants, skeeters, army dillers, and possible wild animals such as ferrell hogs, snakes, deer, or even gators exist in this park. DO NOT approach them or their young. After you finish cachin', be sure and spend some quality family time in the park, hiking, biking, picnicing, fishing, or camping.
The proper permitting has been issued and approved for this cache. Also, it is illegal to enter a state park without first obtaining a park pass. Admission is $5.00 for adults, seniors, and children under 12 are free
