Kiddie Cache Traditional Cache
Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The Kiddie Cache hidden out in the open, it's in a park (Bear Creek Park), and it's in the woods about 400' from an asphalt hiking trail. It's great for kids because it has a few small toys inside for trading, and even though it's only 400' from the trail, it's completely out of sight of civilization and to a little kid it will feel like they have hiked miles into the wilderness. The initial contents are a tic-tac-toe game, a doll, a revolving top, and a package of USDA-approved live rattlesnake eggs! (Parents, they aren't real, but when you open the container it will feel like something is rattling inside - best you open it yourself with very young kids:).
To get to this cache you will want to park here:
29 50.109
095 37.016
Then take the asphalt hiking trail around to the park bench at:
29 49.931
095 36.810
Enter the bench's location as a waypoint so it will be easier to find your way back. From the bench head directly into the woods. There are some small brambles, so jeans are highly recommended. There will also be mosquitoes in the summer along with all the other woodsy critters. Also remember this is a flood detention area, so it will remain flooded for some time after a heavy rain, and muddy for some time after the water recedes.
Please take a toy and leave one, but don't take the rattlesnake eggs. They are a great joke, but only once, so leave them for the next parent to terrorize his kids.
