Hangmans Lane Traditional Cache

A cache and dash on a lane with an evocative name.
This cache is set on a lane which joins the A91 to Stratheden Hospital.
Despite all our best efforts we have been unable to discover any reason for the wonderful name of this road but it is universally known as this throughout the area. We surmise that the most likely reason was the hanging of a Highwayman close to the site of his misdemeanor rather than the more well known hanging site of the Fluthers in Cupar itself.
From the cache site you overlook the Porrige Oat factory which has been built on a Medieval Leper Colony and laterly a Race Course
As this cache has been set for the Langspoon Stirs Again Cache Bash it is not loggable untill friday 3rd April.
