How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is the seventh cache in a series dedicated to those of you who get up in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning to snag first to finds.

There is a First to Find trophy and Geocoin in the cache. If you are the First to Find you MUST agree to take the trophy and Geocoin and put them in a new cache that you place and publish within two weeks from the date of your find (Note – extenuating circumstances will be considered). The new cache should be called “FTF - Tag you are it! # 8.” The new cache should have the same requirements as this one and lead to “FTF - Tag you are it! # 9.” You get the pattern. Your new cache can be any type of cache that you want.

Please do not even attempt to be FTF unless you are willing to continue the string. Failure to continue the string (or at least give a good excuse) will lead to your log being deleted.

There are no special logging requirements for subsequent finders. This cache is in all other respects a normal cache placed in a cool spot.

Let’s be creative and put out some quality caches!

This is a three stage multi-cache where the first two stages have a problem that you have to solve to get the coordinates for the next stage. No destruction is necessary to solve this one. Please let me know if anything is broken or inoperable.

As always, you should carry at least a quart of water when you hike back into these hills. You WILL be sorry if you don't.
