This cache is part of the 'Combs Circular' series. You can get great views walking over the hills around here, which you can incorporate in this circular. Obviously you can find these geocaches in any order or individually too. However, parking for the intended start/finish is available for free at the NW of Combs resovoir (shown on map OL24). Enjoy!
Formally Combs Circular - Long Stone (placed on 2/2/09)
This geocache is a large clip box on ladder hill and is at the highest point on the entire circular route. It's not at the top of the hill because that part is private due to the tv transmitter there. However, a public footpath will lead you right to the cache site. Due to it being on a hill, it takes about 45 mins - 1 hour to get to GZ from the car park at the reservoir.
Please don't drive your car up here as it is unsuitable for motor vehicles - walking (or cycling) is best.
This cache is a regular size, so it will hold geocoins, travel bugs and swaps - use your imagination!
