Geocache Description:

The JOE cache series was started by altosaxplayer, a member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers. The name JOE means "Just Off Exit". The series was started as an Interstate 81 equivalent to the "Loop to Loop" cache series that was started in Nashville TN by cgeek. The JOE caches are placed no more than two tenths of a mile from the exit and the hint is a dead give away to the cache location. JOE caches are an easy way to pick up more cache finds while traveling.

Number five of our West Virginia JOE's series.

Komebeaux previously had a cache in this location and generously offered it up to us when he archived it. It took us awhile to get around to placing the cache but here it is.

We grabbed some JOE caches while visiting the Scrubs Grandparents in VA and thought they were a great idea. When planning our trips we always struggle with which caches really will be quick grabs and which may end as disasters and getting lost in an unfamiliar city. This cache is meant as a super quick grab for those traveling through the area and a nice fast smiley for those that already live here.
