A gradual, uphill climb with a cache as payoff.
This cache is located .47 miles from parking. The trail is uphill the entire way. Its a pretty place with glimpses of some nice veiws.
To get to this cache take route 100B. If you are traveling South, you will see a small sign that says "Hog Hollow Rd", turn right here (turn left if you are coming from the south). This road looks like a private driveway. It is a driveway but it is also a town road. When you reach the house, you will see the trailhead to the left of the house. The occupants appear to be friendly folks.
You will also see a very old sign down the trail a bit that says "Private property". I was told that the land immediately behind that sign IS private but the road and the other side are public. Sounds like a lot of hassle, but it's not and it is a nice trail system.
At the time of placement, the snow on the trail was well-packed except forr the trail head which is a tall snowbank at this point.
