A lovely spot to stop to munch on some shortbread.
This cache is named for my mother's shortbread. The container is that in which she posted some to me recently. The shortbread has all been eaten but I have included approximately 20 copies of Betty's Shortbread recipe to take with you. (If there are no copies of the recipe in the container when you find it, send me an email and I'll reply with a copy for you). [An update; my mother died in October 2010 and so this cache I now consider a memorial to her and her wonderful baking]
The cache is by a popular mountainbiking (and occassionally walking) track overlooking the sweep of Pegasus Bay.
Aside from the recipe when placed the cache also included the standard logbook, pencil and sharpener. For swaps it had: a lead weight with a Churchill quote on it, plastic tweezers, a spooky ball and an AB Weetbix card. It also incuded a Travel Bug that wishes to creep about from cache to cache.
