Reactivation of GC8D9A.
We re-visited the area just after the last rains in Riyadh. The river was in full spate and the area beautifully green.
The "construction" is a "sand farm" and the area to the east of the cache site has been stripped of its dunes, however, it is still a popular picnic spot as is bird watching, despite the river being over run by bullrushes and bamboo.
We replaced the cache in its original position. Stealth is needed due to the huge popularity of the area and a bedouin camp within view of the cache. Let's hope it's not muggled this time.
The area is accessible to saloon cars - so long as they stay on the well marked hard top track, beware the sandy areas either side are VERY soft.
I recommend to take a shovel with you, it could make unhiding the container easier.
