Geocache Description:

Please note new formulae to obtain location of final cache. It has changed from when it was first listed.

This cache was inspired by a set of Geocoins that were released in the UK in the summer of 2008. The geocoins depict some of our beautiful locations and were made by one of the GPS manufacturers. The co-ordinates above will certainly not take you to one such impressive location. They are for Barston Sewage Works!

I was lucky enough to have been able to collect a full set of the geocoins and couldn’t decide how I should set them all off on their travels.

In the end I decided on a new cache in their honour. I hope it attracts lots of the released geocoins and I will keep a tally of those that visit.

It is designed to be a quick cache and dash once you have answered the following questions based on the locations to be found on the geocoins.

When was Stonehenge added to the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites? The year will give you ABCD.

What year did the designer of the Angel of the North win the Turner Prize? The year will give you EFGH

The two nearest London Underground stations to the London Eye both begin with the same letter of the alphabet. It is number IJ in the alphabet.

How many years after the designer of the Clifton Suspension Bridge’s death was the bridge completed? The answer will give you K.

What year did Big Ben slow down on New Years Eve due to heavy snow causing it to chime in the New Year 10 minutes late? The year will give you LMNO.

Now put some of the letters into this formula to get the final location of the cache.

N52° [A+E] [K] . [B-I] [J+A+L] [M-C]

W 001 ° [O*2] [N/2] . [B-F] [G-L] [D]
