The 'Cathedral of Gower' was probably built around the opening of the 14th century to replace the one at Landimore, which had been affected by the encroachment of the sea on low-lying land. The two churches of Landimore and Cheriton are never mentioned together an authentic document, both being dedicated to St. Cadoc.
Roadside parking is available opposite the Church.
