Sande kommune er en øykommune med omlag 2.550 innbyggere. Sentralt i Sande kommune ligger kommunesenteret Larsnes, der de fleste offentlige og private tjenestene befinner seg. Larsnes har rike tradisjoner som handelsenter helt tilbake til 1600-tallet, og ligger sørvendt, lunt og idyllisk til langs fjorden.

Sande municipality is a island-municipality with about 2,550 inhabitants. Central to Sande lies Larsnes community center, where most public and private services are located. Larsnes have rich traditions that trade senter as far back as the 1600s, and is south facing, cozy and beautifully along the fjord.
Neighboring communities to Sande Herøy is in the north, Vanylven and Selje with the Vestkapp and the powerful Stadhavet in the south-west.
