Since this cache was originally placed, some things have changed and others have not. The trams have long since been delivered and merrily tootle about the place...but the Gyle Shopping Centre remains, as implacable as ever. The original description is included below, for legacy as much as anything else.
The Gyle shopping has some sculptures outside in the car park. Find the sculpture that may disappoint a gardener, stacked or otherwise. Take a seat and look behind you.
The Gyle shopping centre will soon host a station for the new Edinburgh Trams. So I have found the right seat for you where you can watch the progress & wait for a tram, it is/will be near the station.
(1st Feb 2012, 3 years on, some work has now started !! 1st Mar 2012, there are trams now at the depot at the roundabout, otherwise still waiting!! OHB )
