The place.

Mikri Vigla is a beautiful beach resort situated 18 kilometres from the capital of Naxos Greece and has two wonderful sandy beaches which are separated by an impressive rocky formation. The northern beach is a famous windsurfing spot because strong north winds are constantly blowing.
On the South side lays one of the longest and of unique beauty beaches not only of Naxos but of Cyclades in general. Shallow but also deep crystal-clear waters fading in the endless sandbanks of the beach embrace gently the indefinable shaped rocks of Mikri Vigla cape. There you will find another cache of us Shells in Naxos.

The Cache.

The summer evenings, many people climb up the rocky formation that divide the two beaches to admire the sunset and the moonrise from up there.
It is an easy 10-15 minutes climb up and the view from up there is fantastic. If you are in Naxos the summer months, avoid to search for this cache the evenings because there are many muggles in the area.
The cache is a tupperware box with a stash note a logbook and some items to trade

We wish you good and pleasant geocaching in Naxos island.
