This cache has been archived.

JustAlan: Five years in, the final archived, and GZ under a mass of nettles. Time for this one to go. Took TB to move on.

Thanks to all who visited, and for those who are interested, the letter/number combination was C=3.

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the 'Cache EM If You Can' series of caches placed by emCache members in the East Midlands. Dont forget to collect the letter/number combination (inside the lid and on the back of the log book), or you won't be able to find the final. Good Luck.

The cache is hidden close to two houses with unusual fences. The first house has a short section of fence made out of barrel staves, and is opposite the parking area (N52 58.793, W001 36.698). The larger fence is outside a house between the parking area and the village of Brailsford at N52 58.552, W001 37.336. Both fences are made out of the staves of beer barrels, giving the fence an unusual and pleasing design. Having been pickled in beer for many years, it should also prove to be long lasting without further treatment. The fences are not however unique, as there is a similar one a few miles down the A52 towards Ashbourne. Evidently somebody had a lot of barrels to dispose of.

The cache container is a white cylindrical container with a black lid, and is similar to others in this series.
