Geocache Description:

Access off of Klondike Road, obvious hide but its off trail and meant for a winter snowshoe trek hence the 3 rating.

This was set up as part of the GAG13 Event. Please don't hunt for it until after 1800 hr 13 February 2009.

I'd been through the area briefly in the fall on my mountain bike looking for Model Blue and found out real quick I was in over my head when I saw bikers with helmets, breast plate body armor, knee/ shin/ elbow pads and padded gloves. I learned first hand how handy that stuff would be on this trail.

In celebration of my new snowshoes I set Snowshoe Run as a target cache for my 600th find. I did Snowshoe Run and thought this was a great spot for a winter bushwhack. Certainly no mosquitoes around now!

Lots of cross country trails but snowshoes are definitely more appropriate in the winter. It isn't too far off an established trail but it looked like there was a pond there. I did see what looked like a beaver dam to get across in warmer months.

The cache is a small green lock n lock with a few small trade items, log and pencil. I didn't bother with the hint as you've no doubt figured it out pretty quick.
