Up a steep sealed road. 4WD will take you to within 30 meters. Non 4WD about 150 meters from carpark.
This is a small brown cylindrical screwtop container that holds a log book & a few small swaps. Won't hold bigger items. We called it "Lowgear" as you will need to keep your vehicle in low gear both up and down this very steep bit of road. Accessible for most vehicle types but no caravans. You can park in the carpark and walk rest of way or 4WD will have closer access. Watch geokids on the last 20 meters or so as it is a bit off the track on some rough, steeper type terrain. Offers great views and you can swim in the nearby river. Has picnic table & BBQ (bit rough). Nearby town of Bingara is quite small but has a few nice historic buildings and most facilities.
