This cache is in a beautiful historic area of South Lake Tahoe. It is accessible year around, but will most likely require a short walk in the winter with snow shoes or cross country skis. If snow pack is light, you can just walk. This is a great place to spend an afternoon learning a little about how the wealthy lived on the shores of Lake Tahoe in the late 1800’s – early 1900’s.
