What is the realationship of the above image to the following image?
In 1830, the majority of the "Five Civilized Tribes" the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, Seminole, and Cherokee were living East of the Mississippi River, as they had for thousands of years. During the 19th century it was the policy of the United States government to remove and/or relocation Native American Tribes, living East of the Mississippi River.
The "Indian Removal Act", signed into law on May 26, 1830 by President Andrew Jackson, forced the Cherokee Nation and many of the other tribes to suffer from exposure, disease, and starvation, while going on their route to lands West of the Mississippi River.
