In
the middle 1800’s five people met in the home of my
great-great-grandfather to form an organization that still remains
today. To house this group a log structure was built at the corner
of Highway 125 and the former County Road 62. In 1916 a storm came
through and destroyed this building. The members then voted to
build a new building, but at a different site. After building this
structure it was not long until the members decided that they had
the financial means and the support of members that they could
build a bigger and better structure. So they picked up the old
building and set it aside and placed the present building in its
place. I am proud to say that I have carried on my family heritage
and am a member of this
organization
.
