Geocache Description:

This is the second cache I am placing as part of my Week of Caching. The location is and old gas station/cafe that looks like its useful life is long behind it. Junction 529 looks like it was last used in the mid 90s.

This place looks like it would be the perfect place for a TBM. The container is a coffee can stile plastic container covered in camo tape. Since I came back to Hobbs last year I have never seen a single person at this place. This is also a good place to jump off from if you are going to try for some of the caches to the Northwest.

I have not been able to find out much about this place so far, if anyone know anymore about the history of this place please feel free to share.

Best way to the cache is from the Highway 529 side. Lots of Parking. Would NOT recommend to be done at night; there are no light and there my be some less the friendly critters living around the site. Children are welcome to join in on the hunt just keep an eye on them.

DO NOT ENTER ANY OF THE BUILDING!!
This place looks run down and there is no telling how strong the wooden floors are and there could/probably is something living in/under some of those open rooms. The cache is a good 10-20 feet from any of the building.

If you would like a Good look into one of the larger buildings go to the back of the east most building and take a peek.

Thing of interest to LOOK at:
1) Old, sun bleached map of the area (in front of the south most building)
2) BM near the entrance to the location (N32 41.718 W103 23.066)
