The bonus cache, hidden along the Three Churchs Walk between Gazeley and Dalham.
Find all three micros on the Gazeley Loop, and you will be able to pick up this bonus cache!
The posted co-ordinates are suggested parking in Gazeley, which allow you to quickly pick up the nearby Church Micro, before heading off along the Three Churches Walk, and is also handily placed for the pub for when you return. A map is situated just outside the church walls with the route marked, if you need to check up again before heading off. You can either walk the entire route, or divert back towards Gazeley after visiting Dalham. This shorter loop uses the road, but it is not at all a busy road - and you will hear a car long before you see it. Furthermore, most of the time you will be able to walk beside the road, rather than on the road.
When Cherish and I walked the Gazeley Loop with Ruby (four weeks old) to check the co-ordinates, it took us around an hour and three quarters. We were walking at a fairly sedate pace, and messed about a bit at each cache location, so this is probably about the time you should set aside to do the loop.
Things to consider:
- The co-ordinates for all the caches in this loop have been averaged, due to tree cover. They may not be perfect.
- The bonus cache is an ammo can, and is more carefully hidden than the other caches in the Gazeley Loop.
- The hint may not be much use unless you know your Alice in Chains, or have googled it.
