Geocache Description:

It seems I've been coming and going past this spot an awful lot in the past week - whether towards Crockett, Pinole, or Richmond. Chasing a handful of FTFs is about the only thing that's gotten my out of the house this past, very challenging week.

This evening, I was coming home from another FTF over in Pinole Park, and had been thinking about something that sort of caught my eye last time I was at this spot. I even thought of a clever name for the cache - or so I thought. Tip of the hat to TeamAlamo for actually coining the name - I had to look at my finds in GSAK to refresh my memory of this past FTF.

There was a cyclist changing his tire at the end of the road - so I drove down the hill a little. It's these crazy, faux stone concrete blocks that I get a kick out of. They're loaded with hiding spots, every few feet - but I didn't have that type of container with me. This is currently a magnetic nano, though I may upgrade it on a subsequent visit.

I knew there were/are caches all around here - so I plugged my location into gc.com, and realized that I was in the clear - but that some of the other spots I was eye-balling would have been too close to sargenv's nearby cache. Funny that I should notice that - since this cache is a bit of a 'consolation prize' for missing out on today's earlier FTF. Hopefully this one gets published while you're not on call, Vince!
