The cache is located at the Arbutus Trestle on the E&N railway. This is one of three trestles in the Goldstream section.
I decided to hide a classic cache in a really cool spot. The cache is located on the east side of the rail bed on the north end of the trestle. I would not advise crossing as the balconies are wide apart as are the ties. The trestle is meant for trains, not people. If you've ever seen the movie, Stand By Me, you know that it is possible to get stuck halfway with a train coming. It is probably a good idea to find the Tunnel Hill Cache first and work from there. I will not acknowledge how to get here from there but it should be pretty obvious.
Safety
Although as of August 8, 2015 this is not an active railway, cachers need to follow these rules so nobody gets hurt and I don't get in trouble:
~ Ideally don't go by yourself. Be careful when crossing the rails as they can be slippery.
~There is some work being done to the rail bed. Do not take any souvenirs or touch rail equipment. You could be prosecuted with theft and/or vandalism if caught.
~The attribute says not recommended at night. There are too many ways to slip and fall. Please respect this.
