Geocache Description:

The natural buffer zone between the Pacific Ocean and South Beach State Park.

This Christmas (2008), my fellow cachers and friends at the Snoopy Task Force presented me with an ammo box filled with caching supplies. What a great gift!

I decided to place the ammo box at one of my favorite winter getaways - South Beach State Park just to the south of the Oregon seaside town of Newport.

Please note that cache is off the paved path. You can follow a dirt trail (starting at the marked waypoint) to get to the cache. You can park nearby in the day use area and follow the paved path to the coordinates - or better yet, enjoy the campground and stay a night or two!
