**NOTE**
This cache listing is a qualifyer for the "Pony Express Trail Challenge" of mine. Photo of you and the Pony Express horse/rider statue will work here.

Pony Express Trail started in St Joseph, MO in 1860 and lasted about 18 months before being replaced by telegraph communications. The trail ran through eight states (MO, KS, NE, CO, WY, NV, UT and CA). Sacramento was the western terminus of the trail where mail made a final trip to San Francisco by boat. Ads placed by Russell, Majors, and Waddell (business partners) asked for expert riders that were young skinny wiry lads and preferably orphans. Pay was $25 a week. The Pony Express is an icon in American History of the Old West surviving its dismal business record as a major success of the time and in Western Folklore. Cache was placed with permission of the City Park and Recreation Department. Congrats to ttor50 on your FTF!!!!
