This is our fouth in a series of seven caches around the New Cut Canal in Woolston. But unlike the other five I'm afraid you're going to have to work a little harder for this one! The above coordinates are not where the cache is located. They are a possible parking spot in Larkfield Avenue.
Firstly look at the name of the cache & think of a synonym or definition of both words. This should give you a massive clue which will help you to work out the following puzzle.
1. This is an element found in many kinds of disinfectant wipes & sprays.
2. Classified as a transition metal. Due to its high resistance to corrosion it is used in the formation of steel alloys. It is added to many high speed tools & cutting objects.
3. This element is the largest single constituent of the earths atmosphere.
4. This is never found freely as it reacts violently of water. It is one of the 3 main elements in fertiliser ratings, usually mentioned last.
5. A colorless, odourless, tasteless, non-toxic gas often used to inflate balloons.
6. A very well known element, as it & many of its compounds are especially potent poisons.
7. A precious metal historically six times more valuable than gold. Along with platinum & palladium it has its main use in catalytic convertors.
8.Classified as a metalloid, its chemical symbol is B.
