The final cache is a 35mm pot and has been deliberately kept small due to the busy location of the village. The cache contains a pencil, although it would be advisable to have one with you in case.

Heighington Haunts
As a child I grew up & played in this pretty little village. Most of the area that you will visit today were the regular haunts of myself and my friends.
The village has not changed much over the last 40+ years and setting this cache trail, has bought back wonderful memories of playing marbles in the street, tickling brown trout and catching them with our hands in the beck. Watching the old traction engine steaming up and whistle in the garden of the Post Office and playing in the playground at St Thomas CofE School. Those days were the best and the fondest memory of all was the spotted dick and treacle tart that was a favourite with school dinners.
I hope you enjoy this 3.75km stroll of Heighington Haunts.
