Ammo can a few feet off the main trail.
You're looking for an ammo can. This is a nice trail to walk almost any time of day. On the weekends there can be some muggle traffic, especially during the guided tours. The cache is a few feet off the main trail but doesn't require any bushwhacking. Please take care when retrieving and replacing the cache. And as always, bugs and other critters could be in the area. The are also gets pretty hot at certain times of the year. Plan accordingly.
Update 01/24/12 - There is now a $6 fee to park at Ft. De Soto.
Please Note: For some reason this container ends up wet more often than not. It's placed off the ground for that reason. Please place it back where you found it to help keep contents dry. Thank you!
