I have hidden my public cache in a park in Englishtown on the bank of Lake Weamaconk. It’s a traditional sized cache in a lock & lock box, a very quick find, located about 80ft from parking.
This cache is part of my Girl Scout troop’s Silver Award. Each of us has hid two caches; one of them is a public cache, in which all can visit. The other cache is for Girl Scouts only, and is hidden in one of the Girl Scout camps.
I have hidden my public cache in a park in Englishtown on the bank of Lake Weamaconk. It’s a traditional sized cache in a lock & lock box, a very quick find, located about 80ft from parking. This is a lovely little park with picnic tables and barbeques, but is best used for fishing. They stock this lake for fishing each year. There is also a boat ramp for public use. My mother grew up on this street, so that’s how I found out about the park.
Included in this cache are trinkets such as, a slinky, a heart shaped candleholder, mini highlighters, a jelly bracelet, designer sticky notes, and a plastic horse that makes a “neigh” sound. Also a pocket sized Cocktails for Dummies Book, a pedometer, and a mini memo cube.
As part of our project, each of us is releasing a travel bug into the world. Starting his adventure in this cache is a travel bug named Aoi. Aoi is a small stuffed husky, please pass him along and help him complete his mission if you happen to find him :)
