This pretty cypress swamp hides "in plain sight" behind a busy shopping mall.
This small ecosystem was left undisturbed when the mall went in a couple years ago. It's a place where the wildlife who used to lived where the blacktop and stores are now situated can now do their hunting, preening and socializing in relative peace. When I placed the cache I saw a great blue heron, a white egret, an osprey, some killdeer, a tricolor heron and some ducks all enjoying themselves. The mall security guards are wary of geocaching so please try to avoid them. No night visits, please.
