The United States Mint has recently released the last of the State
Quarter series. 50 U.S. Quarters representing the each of the 50
United States. From Alaska to Florida, from Maine to Hawaii, each
of the United States is now represented in a 50 Cache series and
some associated Bonus Caches. All I have to do is place them. But,
one step at a time.
This cache represents a single American State. Which state is
for you to find out. Wherever possible, I have included the actual
coin in the cache container. On one side is a representation of our
First President, George Washington. On the other is the state
symbol that each state put forth as their representation of what
their state is all about.
You will notice that this cache has a number associated with it
and not the state name. The number is a representation of my
re-ordering of the states. The numbers are not assigned randomly.
There is a reason behind the numbers. Some information was captured
and totaled and then ranked based on the total. This cache had a
total of 91.
This is a traditional cache. You do not have to do anything
special or out of the ordinary to log this cache. Each cache
container contains a log sheet, and it also contains the quarter.
Please do NOT remove the quarter from this cache. Some of the
quarters have proven to be extremely rare, and will be hard to
replace. For those whose vision is slightly impaired, like mine, I
have included the state name on the cache log. Please do not e-mail
me the name of the state, as this is not part of the logging
requirements. I do, however, recommend you keep a list of the
states and the associated numbers from the cache listing.
Do not include the name of the state in your log.
About this hide: Searching for a 35mm Film
Cannister near ground zero. This cache is located near an archived
cache.
I hope you enjoy the series and the bonus caches. Happy
caching.
