Near the summit of North Butte.
Well, since South Butte has had it's cache for well over four years, it was high time that North butte was finally included.
The vehicular approach can be made in almost any vehicle, but the washboard along parts of the road will shake your fillings out!
Although there is a summit log (with entries back to at least '92) there is no real evidence of a trail. Your approach will most likely be from the west side, and there are several potential ways to get to the top of the mountain from that direction.
