Geocache Description:

Monument to King O'Malley

Statesman , Visionary , Philanthropist.
King O'Malley had an incredible life. You can read all about it on this monument. He was a member of the first Australian Parliament and was one of the driving forces behind the establishment of a " Peoples Bank ". For more history visit the Emu Park Historical Society Museum beside the cache. Opens 10 am daily (best to visit in the AM as it sometimes closes at lunchtime. )
PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN REPLACING THE CACHE AS THE HOLDING FORCE ONLY WORKS ONE WAY !!!!!
