Geocache Description:

Mounds State Park is the place to be on Saturday, March 14th . Hiking trails and cache finds range from easy to moderate, and this event will be fun for the whole family.

Join us for an outdoor adventure that will have you exploring the best natural and cultural areas of Mounds State Park. Caches come in all sizes at this event. Be prepared to win great prizes in many categories!

11:00am – Come early and join us for a short hike led by the interpretive naturalist. Discover all about the mounds and why these pre-historic Native Americans chose to build here.
12:00pm – Coordinates revealed.
1:00pm – Geocache Challenge Begins
3:00pm - Awards and Refreshments

Be sure to dress for the weather – we go rain or shine. Activity fee $3/person or $10 for a team of 4, payable the day of event – no gate fee. Registration is required by posting “will attend” on www.geocaching.com, or by calling Mounds State Park at (765) 649-8128 to sign-up.
