Geocache Description:

Winter is a great time to meet with fellow geocachers. No terrain or difficulty on this one!

Join us the last day of February at 1:00 pm for pizza.

I know it is not Leap Year, but we thought it would be a great time to get together and since the event we held last year on Leap Year Day was such a success we decided to do it again. No need to wait 3 more years to do it again.

Let's hope the weather cooperates this year. Do you remember how much snow we got on Leap Year Day 2008?

We'll have a few guessing games, a Travel Bug race, and lots of time to mingle and chat. Only Travel Bugs present at the event cache will be allowed to race. Prizes will be awarded.

Post in your log how many will attend so I can give the Manager an idea of the size of our group.

Get your Travel Bugs logged for the race!

TB Race rules:

1. TB's must be registered~~do this by "dropping" the TB into the inventory on the event cache page
2. TB's must be registered on the event cache page by 11:59 pm on Friday 2/27/09
3. No race entries can be accepted the day of the event
4. All TB's can race
5. The race is held at the event, not out in the wild
6. All TB's will be returned to their owner at the event.
7. Prizes will be awarded
8. Houligans will be swiftly removed from the race by the race Official
9 No Tampering with TB's
11. Leave your adrenaline at home.
