Ground level "cache & dash" with parking close by- an ideal "TB Hotel" to move TB`s & GC`s quickly in and out of the County of Norfolk close to main A11 route.
The cache is a plastic clip-lock box originally containing TB`s/GC`s and assorted items.
Hethersett Station is at the Southern Boundary of the village it used to serve. It was opened in 1845 and was part of the Great Eastern Railway between Norwich & Thetford. At it`s peak was served by 10-12 trains a day. It is a distance from the village and closed in 1966 and has now fallen into disrepair. Behind the ruined station lies the "secret" M.O.D. fuel depot which used to supply Norwich Airport and USAF Bases in Suffolk by means of underground pipleines. The cache is situated close to what used to be the main access road to the station from the village
