Geocache Description:

Looking toward the area of Eleventy-first.



As Gandalf and I were sitting around discussing how best to begin his journey to Britian and Ireland, he noted that I was approaching finding my hundredth cache. While one hundred is a nice round number often used in our modern culture, eleventy-one was a much more curious and interesting number to the people of The Shire. After all, it was on his eleventy-first birthday that Bilbo Baggins had left The Shire, went into retirement with the elves, and turned over The Ring to Frodo to begin his adventure.

Gandalf felt that my eleventy-first cache would be an auspicious location to begin his journey. So after, finding 110 caches, I am creating my first cache, but my eleventy-first overall.

This is a camo’ed small cache that contains:

The normal log.
Gandalf the Grey travel bug (TB2JF8F).
Some Gandalf magnets.
A pen for the FTF.
