STPS – Standard Time Puzzle Series. Standard Time is upon us
again. For some of us this means limited caching at night. I enjoy
puzzles and this is a perfect time of year to do puzzles in the
evening. For this series, I would like to make the caches
themselves park and grabs, you know something that can even be done
in the dark! I would very much like for others to join me in this
series so that I have something to do on these dark evenings
also!
The puzzle is not at the above coords. Now on to the puzzle:

up with a list of explorers with what they discovered. I just had
to do something with this list. So, are you smarter than a fifth
grader?

Jacques Cartier set sail under a commission from King Francis I
of France, hoping to discover a western passage to the wealthy
markets of Asia. In the words of the king's commission, he was to
"discover certain islands and lands where it is said that a great
quantity of gold and other precious things are to be found".
Starting on May 10 of that year, he explored parts of Newfoundland,
the areas now known as the Canadian Atlantic provinces and the Gulf

Ferdinand Magellan set out to circumnavigate the earth. Year

Columbus sailed to the Canary Islands and then on for what
turned out to be a five-week voyage across the ocean. Year:
