FIRST OF ALL, IGNORE THE RAILROAD TRACKS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CACHE. THE CACHE IS NOWHERE NEAR THEM!!
One of the many claims to fame for Laurinburg, North Carolina, has been its annual Storytelling Festival of the Carolinas. The town has recently cemented itself into the storytelling world with the opening of the new Storytelling Center of the Southeast just a few blocks south of this cache location.
You are looking for a micro cache. Thecache IS at the posted coordinates and its not too hard to find, handicap accessible even, however the three star difficulty is due to 1) high muggle activity in the area, and 2) the distinct way one has to log this find.
In order to log this find, you will have to bring out some of that famous geocacher creativity. A simple, boring "TFTC" will not do, oh no!! When you log this find, you MUST include a joke, a riddle, a story of some sort, keeping in the spirit of this special place. It's really not too hard. Here's a couple to get you started:
JOKE:
A polish immigrant was undergoing a routine eye test at the health clinic.
"Can you read this?" the nurse asked, displaying this chart:

And I discovered I was NOT her "first to find"!
