This is a themed, five stage multi cache. The purpose is to take
you on a trip of some of Carson City’s history. Some better known,
while some of it is lesser known.
As the curator of a local museum, you fancy yourself an amateur but
avid historian/archeologist. Your passion has been recently
re-invigorated since watching the movie “National Treasure”.
Consequently, you walk through the museum always looking for those
subtle clues that will enable you to find the next “BIG” discovery
and place your name among those legendary explorers.
Then one day it happens!! As you are about to walk out the door you
glance at a display, and you notice something peculiar. You are
sure this is just what you have been looking for. Not wanting to
let anyone know what you have found, you quietly write down a
little reminder (clue) so you will not forget what it is you have
seen. You are positive this will lead you to the historic discovery
of a lifetime.
With the little bit of investigation you have done so far, you know
a few things. You know those who were involved. But first you have
to find where they used to meet to find the "documents" that will
tell you where they are now. You hope this will lead you to where
they used to work when they found their fortune, and also where
they hid their treasures.
Stage one: Is available during the hours: 10:00 am – 4:30 pm daily.
You do not need to move or remove anything.
Stage three: Is accessible dawn to dusk.
Stage four: DO NOT ENTER!!
Stage five: Short hike off dirt road (even NevadaWolf made
it...TWICE). But you may want to wear long pants.
