Geocache Description:

Located along Pohick Creek Trail in Fairfax County.

This Cache is medium sized and contains a log book and a pen, as well as some other starter trading items. The container is sealed tight and clearly says geocaching.com. As with most Fairfax County Parks, this park is only open from Dawn to Dusk. Night Caching in Park Authority parks is expressly forbidden

This park is where Mark played as a kid with his friends, enjoying endless days of swimming in the stream and climbing the rock formations. As you hike the trail, look for landmarks that they named as kids: "Farah Fawcett Falls" "Elephant Rock" "Lookout Point 1 and II" "The Cave" and "The Swimming Hole" We hope this cache brings out the kid in you!

There are two trails that will lead you to this cache, both ending up at the creek. Parking for first trailhead is at N 38° 43.210 W 077° 12.651
Parking for second trail head is: N 38° 43.921 W 077° 12.789

If you live in the Springfield (Saratoga) area or Newington Forest, you will be very familar with these trails and this beautiful park.
