Join Raleigh Parks and Recreation for this fun day of family fun at Anderson Point Park! The day begins at 9:00 A.M. at the cottage at Anderson Point.
It's back and this year bigger and better than ever! The 3rd Annual Geocaching Boogie will be at Anderson Point Park and promises to be the best yet! Join friends and newbie’s as we explore this beautiful park whose main feature is the point where Crabtree Creek and the Neuse River meet. The event starts at 9:00 A.M. with an informal discussion about geocaching. Around 9:30 A.M. groups will embark on a temporary and educational multi-stage cache designed to give a general overview of the sport. This event is good for families as all the caches are centered on a hard surface walking trails that are stroller friendly! Once we are done we will meet back at the cottage for the trophy presentation and light refreshments. Don't miss this great event at Anderson Point Park.
