Portsmouth Parks - Brunel Monument Traditional Cache
1gowild: Sadly I was unable to find my own cache this morning to replace the logbook. I'm also out of nano magnets so will archive this one to give another cacher a chance to place a new cache in the area. Thanks for all the people who visited and enjoyed this tribute to IKB.

Another in the Portsmouth Parks series.
A new monument in the middle of St George's Square, Portsea, adjacent to The Hard and Ordnance Road was unveiled by the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth Councillor Robin Sparshatt on 7th April 2006 to commemorate the bicentenary of the birth of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
The cache (a magnetic black nano) is located close to but not on the monument. There are plenty of benches to take a few minutes to enjoy this pretty little area.
Cache contains logbook only so bring a pen or pencil. Please write small.
Please remember to bring your own pen or pencil in case there isn't one in the cache at the time of your visit. One of the fundamental understandings of geocaching is that visitors sign the log so if you can't do that you can't count it as a find......
