Normally a 20 minute walk to the cache site from the Foundry end of Hayle (if you take the same route as us). However, you could take the footpath immediately after Jewsons (on the main road towards St.Ives) and follow the track around Carnsew Pool. From Jewsons to the cache site is approximately 30 minutes each way, and it can be a bit muddy in places.
There are a couple of benches around Carnsew Pool and some bird watching information. We promise you'll be able to sit and have a rest near the cache site.
(The website "driving directions" might make it a more interesting search -but not one that we would fancy. If you do try an alternative approach the terrain rating could be considerably higher!)
