Geocache Description:

FTB South, "for the birds" is a series of 7 caches representing some of this areas most interesting and adorable little creatures.

17-20" A large Owl of extensive woodlands. The Barred Owl has eyesight in darkness that is 100 times keener than that of humans and they are able to locate prey by sound alone. This particular Owl has none of the more recognizable ear tufts. Some Barred Owls have pink belly feathers from eating alot of crayfish..and they can actually wade in water to catch them.
