Geocache Description:

Honoring the History of the Victor Community and the North Bay area.

We chose this location for several reasons but mainly to honor the pioneers of this area. Little is listed about this community and it has no zip code but it is a vital part of the North Bay area. It's center is a small but mighty fire department and a community building located by the bay. Nearby property, owned by the Pederson family, was donated for use as a cemetery that was started in 1916. The area is populated by residents on the bay or on the acreage along the back roads. A lovely drive any time of the year.

Please bring along a CITO bag as this area is in desperate need of cleanup. Also, for those who are willing to give some of their time, the cemetery is maintained only by volunteer labor which currently consists of a lovely retired lady named Elsie, who's family is buried there, plus a friend or two. I spoke to her and she would be thrilled to have help clearing out the overgrowth and with general maintenance. Anyone interested please email me for times and dates. Let's work with Ms. Elsie to clean this lovely little cemetery and bring it back to the beauty it once was.

Bonus to this cache...the owner will randomly add goodies to this cache so it's not the FTF who will get something special. Anyone may find a new SWAG.

NOTE: This is a daytime cache only! The neighbors shared that there have been drug exchanges at all hours of the night in this area. Trails through the cemetery attest to heavy foot traffic. Daytime hours are no problem at all
