Geocache Description:

This cache is part of my Alphabet Series. Cache is 50~70 ft off the trail, up the hill

This cache is part of my Alphabet Series. Usually there will be 4 or 5 caches in a given location. One cache is a Mystery cache and the others are traditional. One does the traditional caches first and gathers the information to find the Mystery cache. Each cache contains a number that should be recorded. This cache is part of the second series of Alphabet Caches. These series contains five caches E, F, G, H and I. All five caches are along the Middle Patuxent River running through Columbia. You should plan on hiking about 2 miles to get all 5 caches The proposed parking for all 5 caches in this series is (N39 11.947, W076 53.852) which ls the start of a paved path off of Bright Passage. When I first planted this series in 2009, the dirt path (that leads down to the river off of the paved path) didn’t exist. At the end of this path, the trail that runs along the river. All 5 caches are off of this trail. All the caches are small containers, approximately 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. They have room for only small items. Bring your own pencil or pen. Of caches E-I, this the the most difficult to find Congratulations to Ferretpack for FTF. There are presently (as of March 8, 2009) 13 Alphabet caches placed and Ferretpack has been FTF on all 13! The question is will the streak be maintained?
