The Hughson Meat Packing Plant, tentatively re-christened Ringtail Ridge by the San Marcos Greenspace Alliance, is a little gem on the outskirts of San Marcos. The Alliance has been busily putting in a terrific trail over the past months, and it's well worth a visit if you haven't been out there.
This cache is principally for the exchange of small toys. Our youngest (now 8) especially enjoys the trading of interesting items in the geocaches we find, so we've placed this cache especially for her and like minded kids to swap nifty stuff. It has been placed with a selection of items she handpicked from her personal collection.
The container is an ammo box, and is placed between a couple of tree trunks. It should be easy to find once you're in the right area. Please do make an effort to cover it back up with some camouflage when you're done to keep the muggles at bay!
